Raub, one of the older towns in Pahang was founded by TENGKU LAKSAMANA ALANG SHAH from NATAR, Sumatera in 1882. It began as a GOLD MINING settlement early in the last century.

Nowdays from the small quiet town, with the new highway & road, only 2hours from main capital Kuala Lumpur. During a busy long holiday,  Raub town will be always crowded due to its located in between the journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bahru in Kelantan.
